To expand its social contribution, charitable donations, and corporate social responsibility efforts, SEEC has consistently implemented various public welfare activities for many years through the "Hsu Chin-Te Memorial Foundation". Established in 1984, the Hsu Chin-Te Memorial Foundation actively participates in and sponsors local ecological conservation and cultural activities, supporting the development and integration of local culture and education, while sparing no effort in caring for vulnerable groups and providing emergency relief. Through regular charitable donations and leveraging Group synergies, SEEC systematically allocates resources across charitable donations, community outreach initiatives, and cultural and artistic activities from points to lines and areas, jointly advancing the shared goal of cultivating a harmonious and inclusive society.
SEEC not only focuses on corporate economic performance but also proactively assumes social responsibility, taking social contribution as its duty to generate greater positive impact for society.
Yeang Der Group Donates JPY 50 Million for Kumamoto Earthquake Relief |
A strong earthquake recently struck Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, causing major disaster and casualties. To assist with emergency relief and subsequent reconstruction efforts in the disaster-affected areas, Yeang Der Group announced a donation of JPY 50 million to a dedicated relief fund, offering concrete support to the affected residents of Kumamoto with actionable care, aiming to help the disaster area overcome hardships and return to normal life as quickly as possible. Mr. Hsu, Yu-Jui, Chairman of Yeang Der Group, stated that Taiwan and Japan have maintained a deep and friendly bond for a long time, and the Group’s business entities have maintained close and indispensable cooperative relationships with Japanese industries. As one of the core businesses of Yeang Der Group, Shihlin Electric & Engineering Corp. (SEEC) has long maintained a solid investment and strategic partnership with Japan's Mitsubishi Electric. The two sides are deeply integrated not only in technological R&D and business promotion, but also demonstrate a firm spirit of mutual assistance when facing global sustainability transformation and sudden disasters. Furthermore, the Group's HCT Logistics has co-farmed the cross-border logistics sector with Japan's Sagawa Express for nearly half a century, while The Ambassador Hotel has partnered with Tokyo's Palace Hotel to launch the all-new brand, "Palace Hotel Taipei." The cooperation between Yeang Der Group and Japanese enterprises has long transcended purely commercial scope, turning into a cross-border partnership built over years of shared hardships and triumphs. 2025 Shilin Farm Fun Life Festival |
SEEC has long been deeply rooted in the Shilin district, continuously taking concrete actions to respond to local community needs and promote mutual regional prosperity and development. From June 14 to 15, 2025, SEEC was invited to participate in the Shilin District's major annual event, the "2025 Shilin Farm Fun Life Festival." Co-hosted by the Shilin District Office and the Shilin District Farmers' Association, the event created an urban living space close to nature through agriculture, markets, culture, and parent-child interaction. During the event, over 25 local small farmers and specialty stalls from Shilin gathered to exhibit and sell fresh agricultural products. The event also featured music, dance, and street performances, fostering interaction between residents and local farmers while showcasing the vibrant, multicultural community spirit of the Tianmu area. Through the market format, citizens were able to connect closely with local origins, understand agricultural value, and support local agricultural development through practical action. Huang Ren-Zi, Assistant Vice President of the Human Resources Division, stated that SEEC has been deeply rooted in the Shilin area for nearly 70 years, and its corporate growth has always been closely linked with local community development. Upholding the core philosophy that "a company should not only pursue operational performance, but also actively engage in social care and sustainable development," the company continuously participates in local events, supports community growth, and fulfills its corporate citizenship responsibilities. This event also integrated a single networking session and agricultural cultural experiences, bringing people closer together through engaging interactions and weaving agriculture, markets, and warmth into a vibrant community scene. To fulfill corporate social responsibility and enhance local emergency medical rescue capabilities, companies under the Yeang Der Group jointly donated an Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) life support system to MacKay Memorial Hospital, protecting every ray of hope for life through concrete action. SEEC's participation in this joint donation aims to optimize the hospital's emergency medical equipment, supporting first-line medical teams in confronting critical challenges and building a more solid safety net for patients and their families. The donation ceremony was held in September 2025, with Dr. Chang, Wen-Han, President of MacKay Memorial Hospital, accepting the donation on behalf of the hospital. President Chang expressed special gratitude to Yeang Der Group and SEEC for their support of medical resources, describing the initiative as an exemplary model of combining corporate social responsibility with a healthcare mission. SEEC will continue to pay close attention to societal needs and remains committed to investing resources in healthcare, education, and care for the underprivileged. Shihlin Electric Partners with Taipower Zhushan Branch to Visit Elderly Residents in Matsu During Lunar New Year and Strengthen Local Power Supply |
On the eve of the Lunar New Year during the cold winter season, SEEC team members, alongside Lin Zong-Han, Director of the Zhushan Branch, led a team to donate warm daily necessities, food, and festive supplies to the elderly residents of Tatung Orphanage & Home for the Aged. Through this gesture of care, SEEC aims not only to deliver a reliable power supply, but also to serve as the warmest support for community elders, fulfilling its neighborly commitment to local harmony. Beyond community care, SEEC bears the critical responsibility of enhancing power supply stability across the Matsu area. The installation of new power generation units at Zhushan Power Plant is currently underway at full speed, with trial operation for the first new unit scheduled for October 2025. Once all new units enter commercial operation in the future, they will effectively reinforce regional power capacity, accelerate the transition of aging power plants to backup status, and optimize overall power generation efficiency. SEEC will maintain superior construction quality and safety standards while actively promoting public welfare initiatives wherever its projects are located, allowing power infrastructure development and community outreach to advance hand in hand to create shared value with local communities. |

Yeang Der Group Joins Hands with Taipei Veterans General Hospital to Host Charity Concert Honoring Healthcare Professionals |
With the full support of Mr. Hsu, Yu-Jui, Chairman of Yeang Der Group, Yeang Der Group and Taipei Veterans General Hospital (TVGH) co-hosted the "Ricky Hsiao & Full Band 2025 Charity Concert," honoring healthcare professionals who have long safeguarded public health through cultural and artistic action. The event brought together over 1,000 Group and hospital employees, as well as their families. Yeang Der Group Long Supports Golf Development: Sponsored Players Claim Champion and Runner-Up Titles at the Yeang Der TPC Championship |
Yeang Der Group has long been dedicated to promoting the sport of golf, extending its corporate philosophy of "pursuing excellence and sustainable heritage" to the international athletic stage. In September 2025, the Group hosted the "Yeang Der TPC Championship" at Linkou Golf Club. As Taiwan's premier Asian Tour event of the year with a total purse of US$1 million, the tournament attracted 144 professional players from around the globe, significantly boosting Taiwan's international visibility in golf. During the competition, players long supported by the Group delivered stellar performances: Japanese player Kazuki Higa captured the championship title with a four-round total of 271 strokes, while Taiwanese player Wang Wei-Hsuan finished tied for second with 273 strokes, earning the honor of top Taiwanese performer in this edition. Furthermore, to encourage players to strive for excellence, the tournament specially established the "Lowest Round of the Day Award – In Memory of Mr. Hsu Chin-Teh" to honor the Group founder's pioneering spirit in sports promotion. During the award ceremony, the Chairman announced that starting from this edition, players who achieve the lowest score of the day will no longer split the award money; instead, each winner will receive US$1,000 individually to recognize their outstanding performance and inspire continuous self-breakthroughs. This initiative demonstrates not only a corporate legacy and tribute to athletic spirit, but also a commitment to nurturing elite talent and fostering the growth of the sports industry. SEEC's 70th Anniversary: A Heartwarming Symphony with Special Education Partners |
As Shihlin Electric & Engineering Corp. (SEEC) approaches its 70th anniversary, the company remains dedicated to transforming corporate celebrations into opportunities for collective societal good. During its annual softball tournament, SEEC invited faculty and students from National Hsinchu Special Education School and National Miaoli Special Education School to participate. Through performance exchanges and charitable donations, SEEC deepened its connection with the special education community. During the event, President Kuo, Yueh-She and Chief Sustainability Officer Shih, Chin-Yi represented the company in donating NT$100,000 in grants as well as cornhole sports equipment to each of the two schools to support the physical education and rehabilitation development of special education students. Cornhole helps cultivate hand-eye coordination and balance, making it ideally suited for special education students. Through this initiative, SEEC aims to promote the concept of "sports equity," empowering students to build confidence and a sense of achievement through sports. By fostering engagement and collaboration with special education schools, SEEC not only continues its commitment to education and social care, but also encourages employees to appreciate diversity.
