Shihlin Electric Wins Taipei's "Age-Friendly Enterprise Certification"

"No century-old company is staffed only by young people."

Shihlin Electric will celebrate its 70th anniversary next year. Over the past 70 years, Shihlin Electric has continuously improved its manufacturing and service standards. While the company is determined to forge ahead, strive for excellence, and move towards becoming an international enterprise, it also relies on the rich experience and wisdom of its middle-aged and senior employees to pass on the torch, with young and senior employees working together. This effectively shapes a sustainable workplace across generations, creating greater value for Shihlin Electric and society.

The "Age-Friendly Enterprise Certification" of Taipei City in 2024 uses five aspects for evaluation: "Organizational Culture," "Recruitment and Appointment," "Education and Training," "Work Environment and Job Redesign," and "Innovative Initiatives." The difficulty of the evaluation is higher than ever. This year, more than 100 companies participated, and a total of 58 companies, including Shihlin Electric, stood out.

Middle-aged and senior employees are valuable human resources for Shihlin Electric. Participating in the enterprise certification is not only an important milestone for Shihlin Electric in promoting an age-friendly workplace, but also allows the company's older generation of colleagues to stay with peace of mind, utilize their strengths, and create greater value for themselves, Shihlin Electric, and society.
